
Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, the President of Kerbala University, inaugurated the Poster Day activities for graduate students at the College of Agriculture. He was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Karim, Dean of the College of Agriculture, along with several deans of other colleges, the head of the Academic Syndicate, faculty members, and students.
At the beginning of the event, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Karim, Dean of the College, honored the University President in recognition of his continuous support for scientific research and his efforts in developing academic work.
In his speech, the University President emphasized that this event represents a scientific platform for exchanging views and presenting research solutions. He highlighted the importance of transforming academic outcomes into applied knowledge that enhances development. He added, “We aim to graduate a generation equipped with knowledge and learning, as they are the foundation of a nation’s progress,” underlining the university’s role in providing scientific consultations and addressing societal challenges.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Agriculture explained that the event highlights the creativity of graduate students, with 38 research projects from both Master’s and PhD programs. He noted the college’s commitment to providing a supportive environment for innovation and knowledge exchange among researchers and specialists.
It is worth mentioning that the scientific day aims to enhance academic interaction and build research networks between students and faculty, serving the advancement of agricultural and scientific development in Iraq.
