The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala organized a seminar on the phenomenon of suicide, which was moderated by Dr. Khudair Yassin Khudair and Ms. Shahlaa Adel. The seminar addressed the causes of suicide, including depression, family problems, poverty, unemployment, addiction, social pressures, and bullying. It also discussed ways to protect society from this phenomenon through raising awareness about the importance of mental health, providing psychological and emotional support, talking with the person, and trying to understand their feelings.
The respected Dean of the College of Agriculture, Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, emphasized the importance of such seminars in our society, particularly within university campuses, to promote awareness among students.
