University of Kerbala Organizes a Campaign to Rehabilitate and Plant the Gardens of the Department of Field Crops at the College of Agriculture

The University of Kerbala, College of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops organized a volunteer campaign as part of its practical activities to rehabilitate and plant grass and myrtle in the postgraduate garden affiliated with the Department of Field Crops. The campaign was carried out by PhD students along with some undergraduate students, under the supervision of the academic staff.

This campaign is part of the department’s activities for the annual student festival, which aims to maintain and care for the garden, ensure its sustainability, and provide a dedicated space for postgraduate students. It was launched under the guidance of the respected Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, and supervised by the respected Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Nazem Farhoud.

The objective of these campaigns is to foster a spirit of cooperation between postgraduate and undergraduate students, encourage teamwork and collaboration, and prepare agricultural engineers who are well-versed in all agricultural practices, while also enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the college gardens.
