Mission

Providing ideal education and training, distinguished scientific research in the field of agricultural sciences, and related specialties that meet the requirements of the market, industry, and the community, ensuring academic accreditation and quality assurance. Additionally, participating in effective guidance and awareness programs in agriculture, enhancing partnerships and collaboration with local government departments, private sectors, and international organizations to accommodate our college graduates.

Objectives

  1. Enhancing and developing academic performance skills and acquiring personal and scientific experience for students that align with the actual market needs for graduates’ employment. This includes adopting modern curricula, experimental and professional learning, and continuous development of curricula and plans for all educational stages to keep pace with progress in agricultural fields.
  2. Enhancing and developing the capabilities of faculty members, researchers, and staff, along with their personal and scientific competence through professional development and providing a suitable university environment to achieve academic and knowledge excellence and innovation.
  3. Improving the quality of research outputs and scientific publications that produce new knowledge and solutions for agricultural and environmental issues by linking scientific research to market needs.
  4. Increasing the impact and visibility of agricultural guidance and awareness programs that provide relevant information and services to the community at the right time.

Promoting a culture of partnerships and scientific collaboration, exchanging experiences by establishing a network that includes the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala and agricultural colleges at local and international universities. This also involves agricultural directorates, agricultural companies, and local farmers identifying actual agricultural problems, maintaining continuous communication, and establishing a suitable foundation for sustainable collaboration to serve everyone and ensure contributions to achieving developmental goals.
