Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Nadhim Farhoud from the Department of Field Crops, College of Agriculture – University of Kerbala, participated as a member of the examination committee for a PhD dissertation at the Department of Plant Production Techniques – Al-Musaib Technical College / Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.
The dissertation was entitled:
“Estimation of Some Genetic and Molecular Markers in Flax under Water Stress.”
The study addressed the impact of water stress on flax plants by analyzing a number of genetic and molecular indicators, aiming to evaluate the drought tolerance of the studied cultivars and identify genetic traits associated with physiological and biochemical adaptation.
The dissertation was awarded a grade of Excellent, reflecting the high quality of the research and the effective contribution of the examination committee members in enriching the scientific work.
