College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala Continues Its Academic Presence in Iraqi Universities

As part of efforts to strengthen scientific and academic collaboration among Iraqi universities, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Najm Abdullah, a faculty member in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Plants at the College of Agriculture – University of Kerbala, participated as the chair of the PhD dissertation defense committee for the candidate Marwa Alwan at the College of Agriculture – Al-Qasim Green University.

The dissertation addressed a specialized topic entitled:
“The Effect of Adding Humic Acid, Vermicompost, and Foliar Application of Iron on the Availability of Some Nutrients and the Growth and Yield of Potato.”

During the discussion, Dr. Ahmed Najm provided constructive feedback and praised the research efforts undertaken.

This event underscores the engagement and active role of the faculty members at the University of Karbala in the academic landscape, in line with the university’s vision to broaden the scope of scientific and academic partnerships with various Iraqi universities.
