Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, a delegation of faculty members from the college, headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Harith Mahmoud Aziz, Head of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening , organized a humanitarian visit to Al-Hanan Home for the Severely Disabled in Karbala as part of the community service program.
During the visit, the delegation met with Dr. Shereen Al-Khazaali, Director of the Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs in Karbala, where they discussed the conditions and needs of the residents and explored opportunities for future cooperation.
The visit included the distribution of material and food aid to the residents of the home, as an initiative aimed at supporting humanitarian groups and promoting the values of social solidarity.
At the end of the visit, the administration of the home expressed its appreciation to the Dean of the College of Agriculture and the visiting delegation for this kind initiative and their efforts in serving the community.
