As part of the ongoing scientific collaboration among Iraqi universities, Assistant Professor Dr. Istabraq Mohammed Abdul Redha, a faculty member in the Department of Plant Protection at the College of Agriculture – University of Karbala, participated as a member of the examination committee for the Master’s thesis of the student Zeina Ahmed Khalaf.
The thesis, entitled “Study of the Geographic Distribution of Root-Knot Nematode Species in Some Tomato Fields, the Susceptibility of Certain Cultivars to Them, and Their Control Methods,” was discussed at the Department of Plant Protection, College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences – University of Baghdad, on Wednesday, 28/1/2026.
After an extensive scientific discussion, the thesis was approved with an Excellent grade, with the committee commending the research efforts made and highlighting the significance of the findings in serving the agricultural sector.
