As part of the Green Day activities held at the College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala, first-year students from the Department of Animal Production took the initiative to carry out a portion of their practical work by organizing and beautifying the department’s garden.
The students made notable efforts in rehabilitating the garden, which included planting seedlings and flowers, cleaning green areas, arranging pathways, and adding aesthetic touches that enhanced the garden’s beauty and provided a comfortable and appealing environment for department staff and visitors.
This student initiative reflects the department’s commitment to promoting environmental awareness among students and encouraging their active participation in activities that contribute to environmental preservation and the beautification of their academic surroundings. It also demonstrates the dedication of first-year students to applying the practical concepts they learn in their studies and transforming them into tangible initiatives that benefit the department and the college.
These student efforts were met with appreciation and praise from faculty members and staff, who commended the students’ enthusiasm and positive initiative in reviving Green Day activities and highlighting their role in enhancing the college’s facilities.
