The Department of Animal Production Holds an In-Person Training Course on Modern Management of Broiler Chicken Cage Farming

The Department of Animal Production at the College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala, organized an in-person training course titled “Modern Management of Broiler Chicken Cage Farming.”

This training course aims to equip participants with the latest knowledge and techniques in managing broiler chicken farms that operate under cage systems, in order to enhance production efficiency and improve product quality.

The course is delivered by a select group of poultry farming specialists from the Department of Animal Production, including:
• Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Qasim Al-Ghurabi
• Assistant Lecturer Mustafa Hadi Hamed
• Assistant Lecturer Ali Hashim Subh

The course covers key topics such as:
• Fundamentals of designing and managing cage systems for broiler chickens
• The latest technologies for providing optimal environmental conditions inside cages (ventilation, lighting, temperature, humidity)
• Modern feeding management and providing balanced rations
