Within the plan of the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala for the academic year 2021-2022 and based on the principle of achieving constructive scientific cooperation between the various Iraqi universities, leading to the exchange of information and scientific expertise among them, the Department of Animal Production in our college hosted the teacher Dr. Fadl Abbas Mahmoud from the College of Agriculture at the University of Al-Qadisiyah to participate In the scientific seminar and his valuable lecture entitled Ostrich Breeding and Propagation in Iraq. The seminar was attended by the Dean of the College and Head of the Animal Production Department, Prof. Dr. Thamer Karim Khudair, the Scientific Associate, Prof. Dr. Sabah Ghazi Sharif, and a good group of faculty professors, led by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Negm Al-Moussawi, Head of the Field Crops Department and Assistant Professor Dr. Haifa Ali Awad, in addition to the presence of a group of students from the Animal Production Department. The interests of our students were clearly manifested through their interest in the topic of the episode through their active contributions to scientific discussions and questions asking God Almighty for more scientific and cultural activities in Our dear college.
