A research team from the University of Karbala publishes scientific research in a respected international journal

A research team from the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala was able to publish a scientific research entitled “First Detection of Cucurbit Yellow Stunting Disorder Virus in Iraq” in the journal “Plant Health Progress”. The research made the first diagnosis in Iraq of a dangerous virus affecting important agricultural crops. The research team included Professor Dr. Adnan Abdel-Jalil and assistant teacher Muhammad Saadoun Muhammad from the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Zuhair Muhammad Ali Jadou from Al-Zahraa University for Girls, and Professor Dr. Duraid Al-Ta’i from Al-Qasim Green University, noting that this journal is issued by the Society of Diseases. The American plant has an international ranking in the first quarter (Q1) and has an impact factor of 2.3 in the Scopus classification and an impact factor of 0.48 in the Clarivate classification.
