Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Karim, and under the supervision of the Head of the Plant Protection Department, Dr. Yasser Nasser Hussein, the beekeeper of the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala conducted a routine inspection of the beehives.
This inspection aims to monitor the development of the beehives and assess their nutritional needs, especially during the winter season, which requires special care to ensure the health and safety of the bees. The technical team emphasized the importance of providing the appropriate conditions and necessary nutrition to enhance the bees’ activity and productivity.
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of the College of Agriculture to support scientific research and applied studies in beekeeping and honey production, contributing to the development of students’ practical skills and serving the community.
