and under the supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Al-Rubaie,
The Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit and Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital, organized an awareness seminar on breast tumors. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Anwar Mohammed Issa Al-Hashemi, who discussed the causes, prevention methods, the importance of early detection of breast cancer, and the necessity of regular follow-ups, especially for women with a family history or genetic predisposition to the disease.
For his part, the Dean emphasized the significance of such awareness meetings and the need to expand them within society, as continuous education is essential for maintaining women’s health.
The seminar concluded with a certificate of appreciation presented to Dr. Anwar Al-Hashemi, who stressed the importance of activating early screening programs to identify causes, ensure accurate diagnosis, and detect the disease at an early stage to mitigate its risks.
