The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala Organizes a Seminar on (The Effect of Thiourea and Boron on the Growth of Sweet Marjoram Origanum majorana L. and Its Essential Oil Content)

The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala held a seminar entitled (The Effect of Foliar Application of Thiourea and Boron on the Vegetative Growth of Sweet Marjoram (Origanum majorana L.) and Its Essential Oil Content), presented by master’s student Rusul Fadel Noori Radi.

The seminar addressed the significance of the research, highlighting that sweet marjoram is a rarely cultivated plant in Iraq and that this is the first study conducted on this plant in the region. The study aims to assess its suitability to local environmental conditions under the influence of specific treatments. The student gave a comprehensive presentation on her research topic, its main objectives, and the scientific methodology employed.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the attendees praised the student’s efforts and emphasized the importance of such academic discussions in supporting scientific research, enhancing research skills among postgraduate students, and improving the presentation of their findings.
