A Faculty Member from the University of Kerbala Participates in an External Thesis Defense

As part of efforts to enhance scientific cooperation and academic exchange among Iraqi universities, Dr. Mohammed Hadi Obeid, Associate Professor in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering at the College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala, participated as a member of the examination committee for a master’s thesis at the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad.

The committee discussed the master’s thesis entitled:
“Response of Sweet Corn to Mycorrhizal Inoculation and Foliar Application of Arginine and Seaweed Extract on Growth, Yield, and Quality Traits of Cobs”,
submitted by the student Amal Abdulwahab Abdulkarim.

The committee chair expressed sincere appreciation for Dr. Mohammed Hadi’s participation, emphasizing the importance of such collaborations among Iraqi universities in advancing scientific research.

It is worth noting that the University of Karbala is committed to supporting its faculty members’ participation in scientific and research activities both inside and outside Iraq, reflecting the university’s distinguished academic standing.
