As part of its efforts to enhance joint scientific and research collaboration and to activate existing agreements with regional universities, a delegation from the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala, headed by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, along with Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdul-Jaleel Lahuf, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Mohammed Ali, and Dr. Iyad Kazem Al-Sindi, visited the University of Tehran and several other Iranian universities.
The visit aimed to expand the horizons of academic and scientific cooperation, exchange expertise in agricultural research and modern technologies, as well as to activate joint programs and exchange faculty members and students between the two universities.
The Iraqi delegation emphasized the importance of this collaboration in supporting the College of Agriculture’s efforts to achieve its scientific and research goals and to provide development opportunities for both researchers and students.
This visit is part of a series of initiatives undertaken by the University of Kerbala to enhance its academic standing and expand its international network, thereby contributing to the advancement of higher education and scientific research in Iraq.
