Faculty Member from the College of Agriculture Chairs External Master’s Thesis Defense Committee

As part of the principle of scientific cooperation between universities and within the academic activities of faculty members at the College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala, Professor Dr. Abdul-Zahra Jabbar chaired the examination committee for the master’s thesis of student Rehab Adel Abdul-Hussein at the Al-Musaib Technical College, Department of Biocontrol Techniques. The thesis was entitled “The effectiveness of some biotic agents and chemical induction in controlling certain fungi causing root rot disease in eggplant,” and the defense took place on Thursday, July 10, 2025.

The discussion took place in a distinguished academic atmosphere marked by constructive academic dialogue and rigorous scientific discussion. The student delivered a detailed presentation on her research and answered the committee’s questions with precision and objectivity. The committee praised the efforts of the student and her supervisor, highlighting the significance of the results obtained in the thesis.
