As part of the scientific cooperation program between the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala and the Fadak Palm Farm affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, a scientific committee conducted a field visit to the experimental site of the master’s student Azhar Ahmed Hamza, in order to monitor the progress of work and review the stages of the experiment’s implementation.
The committee was composed of:
• Prof. Alaa Abbas Ali (Chairman)
• Prof. Khalid Abdul Muttar (Member)
• Assoc. Prof. Mohammed Hadi Ubaid (Member)
• Assoc. Prof. Harith Mahmood Aziz (Member and Supervisor)
The visit aimed to review the mechanisms of implementing the experiment in the orchard and to provide scientific and technical observations that would enhance the success of the research and ensure the achievement of its scientific and practical objectives. This comes within the framework of ongoing cooperation between the College and the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein in serving scientific research and developing the agricultural sector.
The Deanery of the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala reaffirms its constant commitment to supporting postgraduate students and providing them with a suitable academic and field environment that contributes to advancing the level of applied research and strengthening the College’s role in serving the community and achieving sustainable agricultural development
