As part of the weekly activities of the University of Kerbala / College of Agriculture / Department of Plant Protection, a seminar was delivered entitled “Decline of Apricot Production in Iraq: Influencing Factors and Integrated Pest Management Strategies,” presented by the graduate student Shurooq Fadel Mahdi.

The seminar aimed to shed light on the factors contributing to the decline of apricot production in Iraq and their impact on productivity. It also discussed the main causes of this decline and highlighted the most important scientific approaches to control it using biological and bio-based methods within the framework of integrated pest management.
