The Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening at the College of Agriculture – University of Kerbala Participates in the Activities of “Entrepreneurship Week”

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kerbala and the supervision of the College of Agriculture, the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening participated in the Entrepreneurship Week exhibition held at the College of Agriculture, in support of the university’s efforts to promote creativity and strengthen the culture of entrepreneurship among students.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs, the Dean of the College, and a number of department heads, faculty members, and students.

Dr. Harith Mahmood Aziz, Head of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening explained that the participation in Entrepreneurship Week aims to strengthen the connection between academic knowledge and practical application, and to empower students to employ their skills in entrepreneurial projects that can be implemented in real-world settings.

Those in attendance emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship in developing the agricultural sector and its role in providing innovative solutions that serve the community and support sustainable development.
