The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala held its regular council meeting on Tuesday, 9-12-2025, chaired by the Dean, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Kareem, and attended by the assistant deans and heads of the academic departments.
During the session, the council discussed the academic plans for the upcoming academic year and ways to develop the curricula and study programs in all departments: Animal Production, Field Crops, Plant Protection, Food Science, and Horticulture and Landscape Engineering. The council also reviewed mechanisms to enhance scientific research and support student activities within the college.
The Dean emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation with agricultural institutions in the province, considering it a key step toward strengthening the practical aspect and improving academic and research performance.
This meeting comes as part of the college’s efforts to develop its scientific and educational environment and to improve the services provided to students, in line with the University of Kerbala’s vision for achieving academic excellence and contributing effectively to supporting sustainable agricultural development in the province.
