The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala, represented by the Department of Food Science and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a scientific workshop titled “Gender Equality.” The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Zainab Hadi Abbas, Asst. Prof. Dr. Shaima Abdul-Kathib, and Lecturer Basim Abdul-Awn Fadil. It addressed religious, constitutional, and social perspectives related to the concept of gender relations and the principles of equality.
The workshop witnessed active participation from the attending faculty members, whose contributions enriched the discussion and broadened the scope of dialogue on this topic.
