The Effect of Thinning and Spraying with the Growth Regulators Putrescine and CPPU on Some Qualitative, Productive, and Physiological Traits of Date Palm (Barhi Cultivar).
The dissertation addressed the study of the effects of fruit thinning treatments and spraying with the growth regulators Putrescine and CPPU on improving the qualitative and productive characteristics of date palm (Barhi cultivar), as well as clarifying the impact of these treatments on the physiological aspects of the plant.
The defense session included a presentation of the obtained scientific results and a discussion of the mechanisms for employing them in developing production and improving fruit quality.
Assistant Professor Dr. Harith Mahmoud Aziz emphasized the importance of this type of research in supporting the date palm sector, given its role in enhancing production efficiency and improving quality. He noted that the study’s findings represent a scientific addition that contributes to serving farmers and researchers in the agricultural field.
