As part of the scientific activities of the Department of Food Sciences, a practical lesson for the Biochemistry course was conducted in the department’s laboratories under the supervision of Professor Dr. Manal Abdul Wahid and Lecturer Ali Abdul Rahim, with the follow-up of Chemist Sama Jaafar Abbas.

The lesson included several laboratory experiments related to biochemical analyses relevant to the field of food science, with the aim of strengthening the practical component for the department’s students and linking theoretical concepts to practical applications داخل the laboratory. Emphasis was also placed on laboratory safety principles and the proper handling of equipment and chemicals.

The session witnessed positive engagement from the students, who were trained to perform tests and analyze results with scientific accuracy, thereby contributing to the development of their practical skills and preparing them for work in food industries and specialized laboratories.
