The lesson included an explanation of the most important viral and bacterial diseases affecting poultry, outlining methods of diagnosis as well as prevention and control measures, in addition to focusing on vaccination programs and biosecurity procedures within poultry farms.
The economic impacts of these diseases on the poultry production sector and ways to reduce losses were also discussed.
