As part of the implementation of the practical plan for the courses of the Department of Field Crops, a practical lecture was conducted for fourth-year students in the Environmental Stress course, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Badr Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Yasari.

The lecture aimed to identify the types of environmental stresses occurring in the college fields that appear on faba bean plants, to determine these stresses and understand the mechanisms for avoiding their occurrence, reducing their impact, and mitigating their effects. These stresses include heat stress, freezing, and increased or decreased soil pH. The lecture also sought to enable students to apply practical measures to prevent such stresses through conducting scientific research within the field.
