The lesson included field training for students on diagnosing insect infestations affecting vegetable crops grown in greenhouses, identifying the most important insect pests, and recognizing the symptoms of infestation on plants. It also included explaining field detection methods for pests and distinguishing between damage caused by insects and that resulting from other pathological or physiological factors.
This activity aims to strengthen the practical skills of students and link theoretical knowledge with field applications, thereby contributing to the preparation of agricultural cadres capable of diagnosing field problems and taking appropriate measures to reduce the damage caused by agricultural pests.
