As part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of safety and professional awareness among laboratory staff and students, the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala organized a training workshop entitled “Implementing Laboratory Safety Procedures.”
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Abeer Qasim Kadhem and aimed to introduce participants to laboratory safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment during experiments and research activities.
The workshop covered several key topics, including the risks associated with chemical and biological materials, the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the necessary emergency procedures.
It is worth mentioning that the University of Karbala is constantly striving to enhance its scientific outcomes by developing skills and providing an educational and research environment that aligns with international standards of safety and quality.
