The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala Organizes a Seminar on “The Effect of Adding Zeolite and Spraying Glutamine on the Growth of Hibiscus tiliaceus L. Seedlings and Their Active Compounds Content under Water Stress Conditions”

The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala organized a seminar entitled “The Effect of Adding Zeolite and Spraying Glutamine on the Growth of Hibiscus tiliaceus L. Seedlings and Their Active Compounds Content under Water Stress Conditions” presented by the master’s student Ali Sabbar Mohammed Al-Hasnawi.
The seminar addressed the importance of the research, highlighting that the coastal hibiscus shrub is a newly introduced plant species to the Iraqi environment, and this study is the first of its kind conducted on this plant in the region. The research aimed to evaluate its adaptability to local conditions under the influence of specific treatments and water stress.
During the seminar, the student delivered a comprehensive presentation on his research topic, the main objectives of the study, and the scientific methodology adopted.
At the conclusion of the seminar, attendees commended the student’s efforts and emphasized the importance of such scientific discussions in supporting academic research, enhancing postgraduate students’ research skills, and improving their ability to present research findings.
