The Acting Governor of Al-Hurr District visits the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala to strengthen ties of mutual cooperation

Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, Dean of the College of Agriculture, received Mr. Mohammed Jassim Al-Tayyar, Acting Governor of Al-Hurr District, along with his accompanying delegation, in a visit aimed at exploring ways of scientific cooperation and benefiting from academic and research expertise in serving the community.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the esteemed guest, appreciating this visit which reflects the strong relationship between the academic institution and government departments in the province. He presented a detailed overview of the college’s scientific capabilities and its specialized researchers in various agricultural fields, noting the college’s full readiness to place all its research and advisory capacities at the service of community development.

For his part, the Acting Governor expressed his pleasure with the visit, praising the pioneering scientific role played by the University of Karbala and its colleges in the development of the province. He stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with the college, which he described as one of the most vital contributors to the province’s economy.
