The College of Agriculture Council at the University of Kerbala held its first open session for the academic year 2025–2026 on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, presided over by Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein, Dean of the College, with the attendance of the assistant deans and heads of scientific departments.
The council reviewed the most important academic and administrative issues related to the progress of the educational and research process in the college. Discussions included preparations for the new academic year, plans for developing curricula in line with the requirements of the labor market and agricultural innovation, as well as monitoring scientific research and expanding cooperation with agricultural institutions. The meeting also addressed mechanisms to support students and provide a stimulating academic environment.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of teamwork and intensifying efforts to raise the scientific and research standards of the college, in line with the vision of the University of Kerbala and its mission in serving the community.
