Active Participation of a Faculty Member from the College of Agriculture in the Arab Congress for Innovation and Creativity

Dr. Ruqayya Al-Jaafari, a faculty member at the College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala, and a member of the administrative board of the Iraqi Center for Innovation and Creativity as well as the director of its Karbala branch, participated in the activities of the Iraq International Congress for Innovation and Creativity (Arab–Global Congress), hosted by the American University of Iraq – Baghdad (AUIB) from October 4–5, 2025.

Dr. Al-Jaafari’s participation reaffirmed the University of Kerbala’s role in supporting national and international initiatives that aim to promote the culture of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, contributing to the achievement of sustainable development.

The congress witnessed the attendance of distinguished figures in the fields of thought and innovation, including Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, President of the Arab Congress for Innovation. The sessions included scientific discussions that addressed future visions, exchanged experiences, and presented initiatives aimed at empowering youth potential and encouraging entrepreneurial projects.

This participation aligns with the mission of the College of Agriculture – University of Kerbala to engage with global academic and scientific experiences, enhancing its academic standing and supporting its efforts to develop academic and research programs.
