As part of the joint scientific cooperation between the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala and the University of Carthage, the third-year scientific progress of Ph.D. student Rusul Abdul Latif was discussed under the supervision of Professor Dr. Zainab Alawi Mohammed Al-Tamimi from the Department of Animal Production at the College of Agriculture.

The discussion addressed the progress of her dissertation titled:
(Study of Fusarium wilt of tomato in Iraq: Incidence, severity, pathogen characterizations and biocontrol using Trichoderma species and mycorrhizal fungi)

which focuses on studying Fusarium wilt disease in tomato plants in Iraq, in terms of its incidence, severity, pathogen characterization, and biological control using Trichoderma species and mycorrhizal fungi.

This step comes within the college’s efforts to support scientific research and broaden the horizons of academic cooperation with Arab and international universities, contributing to the advancement of research outcomes for postgraduate students.
