The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala welcomed first-year students for the 2025–2026 academic year in a calm and well-organized atmosphere, with the presence of the college’s dean and a number of faculty members. This provided a stable beginning for the new students and offered them an opportunity for direct interaction with the academic staff.
The college continued its reception with a welcoming speech delivered by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein, who emphasized the college’s commitment to providing an educational environment that supports students’ excellence and encourages diligence and discipline. He also invited students to make full use of the laboratories and scientific facilities within the departments to enhance their academic preparedness.
To further strengthen this integration, the college organized an orientation tour that included the departments and laboratories, enabling students to become familiar with the nature of their studies and the requirements of the first year, helping them transition smoothly into university life from the very first day.
