On Sunday, February 11, the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala organized a humanitarian visit to the Elderly Care Home, in cooperation with the college’s Human Rights Unit, with the participation of several faculty members.
The visit aimed to promote a sense of social responsibility among the academic staff, reinforce the values of human solidarity, and express care and appreciation for the elderly in recognition of their contributions and active role in society.
The visit included providing meals, personal supplies, and essential items to the residents, as well as reviewing their health and living conditions and learning about the services offered to them by the center’s administration.
At the end of the activity, the faculty members expressed their gratitude to the administration for their warm reception, emphasizing the importance of continuing such initiatives that embody humanitarian values, strengthen social bonds, and serve the community.
