The Field Crops Department at the College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala, welcomed first-year students for the 2025–2026 academic year in a well-organized environment, with the presence of the college dean and several faculty members.
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, the Head of the Field Crops Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Nazem Farhoud, the department rapporteur, Lecturer Dr. Uday Hamed Taha, and a number of faculty members welcomed the new students. They emphasized the department’s commitment to providing a supportive academic environment that encourages discipline and excellence, urging students to take advantage of the available scientific and laboratory facilities.
The students were also given an introductory tour to learn about the Bologna Process, academic courses, and laboratories, in order to prepare them for integrating into university life from the very first day.
