A Training Workshop Entitled “Human Rights… Dignity and Justice for All” at the College of Agriculture – University of Kerbala

The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala organized a training workshop on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, titled “Human Rights: Dignity and Justice for All.”
The workshop aimed to shed light on the principles of human rights emphasized by divine laws and international regulations, and to promote a culture of respect, equality, and social justice within the community. It also addressed key international conventions and treaties related to the protection of fundamental rights, in addition to highlighting the role of academic institutions in raising awareness and promoting values of fairness.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Shahla Adel Akheyt, and covered several key topics, including:

  1. The concept of human rights and its importance in building societies.
  2. Human dignity as an inherent right that must not be violated.
  3. Mechanisms for promoting justice and equality within educational institutions.
  4. The role of universities in raising awareness and protecting rights.
    The lecturer emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of tolerance, rejecting violence, and respecting diversity, in a way that contributes to providing a healthy academic environment that ensures dignity and justice for all.
