The Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening at the College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala, had an active presence in the activities of the Third International Scientific Conference of Agricultural Sciences, which was organized by the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala, with the participation of a distinguished group of researchers and academics from various Iraqi universities.
This participation was represented by the attendance of the department’s faculty members and researchers, as well as the presentation of specialized scientific papers addressing the latest developments in the fields of horticulture and landscape gardening, technologies for improving plant production, and the development of green spaces, in addition to topics related to sustainable agricultural development.
This step aims to support scientific research, enhance the exchange of academic expertise, and expand horizons of scientific cooperation with universities and research institutions, contributing to the development of the agricultural sector and serving the community.
The Head of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening, Professor Dr. Harith Mahmoud Aziz, confirmed that this participation comes within the department’s commitment to supporting scientific activities and actively contributing to specialized conferences, due to their role in advancing the academic and research process at the College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala.
