In an atmosphere of pride and appreciation for the development of students’ athletic skills, the Dean of the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala honored the winners of the Dean’s Table Tennis Championship, organized by the Student Activities Unit of the college, in the presence of a number of faculty members, students, and representatives of administrative units.
The championship witnessed wide participation from college students, as players competed in matches characterized by enthusiasm and high sportsmanship, with adherence to the approved organizational rules. The results of the championship concluded with the student Zain Al-Abidin Ali from the Department of Horticulture securing first place, while the student Mustafa Abbas from the Department of Animal Production achieved second place.
At the conclusion of the competition, the Dean of the College distributed awards and medals to the winning students, praising their efforts and commending their distinguished athletic performance, and wishing them continued success and excellence in their academic and athletic careers.
The Student Activities Unit was also honored in appreciation of its outstanding efforts in organizing and managing the championship, and for its active role in holding sports and cultural activities that contribute to shaping students’ personalities and enhancing a positive university environment. The Dean emphasized that such events promote constructive competition and positive interaction among students, and encourage their active participation in university activities.
