The Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Karim, held a meeting with the academic and administrative staff of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening , in the presence of the Head of the Department, Dr. Harith Mahmoud Aziz, in Al-Yasmin Hall at the College.
The Head of the Department opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, in which he expressed his appreciation to the attendees for their continued efforts in supporting the educational and research process, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and teamwork to enhance the quality of education and scientific research in the fields of horticulture and landscape engineering.
The meeting discussed several key topics, including improving the educational environment, developing academic curricula, and strengthening students’ practical and research activities. It also addressed mechanisms for administrative development within the department in a way that contributes to improving performance quality and achieving academic objectives.
The Dean also listened to the interventions and proposals of staff members, which focused on developing the teaching process and expanding areas of cooperation between academic and administrative staff.
The attendees expressed their appreciation for the attention and continuous follow-up of the College Deanship, affirming their commitment to implementing the agreed-upon plans and initiatives.
The meeting concluded with the development of an executive follow-up plan for its outcomes, with emphasis on maintaining continuous communication between the department leadership and the academic and administrative staff to ensure the achievement of positive results in the near term.
