The Council of the Field Crops Department at the College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala, held its regular meeting under the chairmanship of Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Nazem Farhood, and in the presence of the department rapporteur, Lecturer Dr. Jazran Jard Kazem, the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Mohammed Abdullah, and the Administrative Assistant, Lecturer Dr. Ahmed Abdul Amir, along with the department’s faculty members.
During the meeting, a number of scientific and administrative issues related to the progress of work in the department were discussed, as well as ways to enhance the academic and educational environment. The meeting also addressed mechanisms for developing administrative performance, organizing student affairs, and preparing for the second semester and upcoming requirements, in accordance with the directives of the University Presidency and the College Deanship.
In his remarks, the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Mohammed Abdullah, emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the department leadership, faculty members, and staff, praising the spirit of teamwork demonstrated by the department’s members and its role in achieving the department’s scientific objectives, in line with the vision of the University of Kerbala to improve the quality of higher education.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the council issued a number of recommendations aimed at supporting the department’s progress and developing its academic and administrative performance.
