The Scientific Committee in the Department of Food Science, College of Agriculture – University of Kerbala, held its meeting chaired by Professor Dr. Zainab Hadi, with the membership of Assistant Professor Saleh Abdul Wahid and Assistant Professor Nebras Abdul Kareem, to discuss a number of scientific and academic matters related to the department.

The meeting addressed ways to develop academic curricula, follow up on research plans, and discuss mechanisms to improve students’ scientific level and enhance the quality of the educational process in line with approved academic standards.

During the meeting, the committee emphasized the importance of activating scientific and research activities, encouraging scientific publication, and strengthening cooperation among faculty members, contributing to achieving the department’s scientific goals.

This meeting comes as apart part of the ongoing efforts of the Department of Food Science to advance the academic environment and develop scientific and institutional performance.
