The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala organized the annual “Green Day” festival for the sixth consecutive year to raise awareness about the agricultural sector.
The Department of Plant Protection participated in the festival with various activities presented by faculty members and students. These included patents, device manufacturing, models of preserved insects, posters, plant disease samples, and demonstrations of artificial bee insemination. This participation contributes to raising awareness among students and farmers about plant pests, helping them identify these pests to prevent plant infections and reduce their spread.
