A delegation from the College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala carries out a volunteer activity in cooperation with Al-Asfiya Charitable and Cultural Foundation

In a humanitarian initiative that reflects the spirit of social solidarity and community responsibility, and under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Kareem, a delegation from the college conducted a field visit to Al-Asfiya Charitable and Cultural Foundation as part of a volunteer program aimed at supporting orphans and underprivileged families.
The visit included a campaign to distribute school bags and supplies to a number of orphans and children from low-income families, in celebration of the new academic year, bringing joy to their hearts and encouraging them to continue their education.
The delegation was received by the Director of the Foundation, Mr. Iyad Al-Asadi, along with several members of the administrative staff, who expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the initiative of the College of Agriculture and its role in supporting volunteer and charitable activities.
For their part, the representatives of the college emphasized that this initiative falls within the framework of the community service mission adopted by the University of Karbala, which seeks to promote the values of generosity and solidarity and to strengthen cooperation between academic institutions and humanitarian organizations to serve the most vulnerable groups in society.
