The Department of Food Science Holds Its Regular Meeting Headed by Professor Dr. Abdul-Zahra Jabbar Ali

The Council of the Department of Food Science at the College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala, held its regular meeting, chaired by Professor Dr. Abdul-Zahra Jabbar Ali, and attended by Dr. Mahdi Najm Rukhayt, the department’s rapporteur, and Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Amir, the college’s administrative assistant, in addition to the faculty members.

The head of the department opened the meeting with a welcoming speech in which he expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the attendees, commending their efforts in supporting the department’s scientific and research progress. He emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation and teamwork to achieve academic and research excellence.

During the meeting, the council discussed several key topics, including the organization of class schedules for the current semester, updating academic curricula in line with recent developments in the field of food science, and following up on the progress of educational and research activities as well as student projects. The meeting also addressed mechanisms for strengthening cooperation with food and industrial institutions to serve the community and improve educational outcomes.

At the end of the meeting, Professor Dr. Abdul-Zahra Jabbar Ali thanked all council members for their sincere efforts and wished them continued success and dedication in serving the department, the college, and the university.
