Under the guidance of Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Kareem, Dean of the College of Agriculture, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Kadum Mohammed Abdullah, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Harith Mahmood Aziz, Head of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening , the department continues its scientific and practical activities aimed at developing students’ skills and enhancing their research and applied capabilities.
This initiative comes as part of the department’s efforts to support scientific research and expand the practical aspects of learning by involving students in field research projects that contribute to improving their skills and strengthening their practical experience in various areas of horticulture and landscape engineering.
Assistant Professor Dr. Harith Mahmood Aziz, Head of the Department, affirmed that these activities align with the College of Agriculture’s vision of advancing the scientific and research level of its students and preparing qualified personnel capable of effectively contributing to the development of the agricultural sector.
It is noteworthy that the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening is one of the leading departments in the college and continues its dedicated efforts to update its academic curricula and develop its training programs in line with the needs of the modern agricultural labor market.
