The Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Agriculture held an awareness and guidance workshop entitled “Drug Abuse and Addiction: Causes, Types, and Solutions.”
The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the dangers of drug abuse and the negative effects of addiction on the individual, the family, and society, while highlighting the main causes leading to this phenomenon, the types of narcotic substances, and methods of prevention and treatment.
The workshop emphasized the importance of the awareness-raising role of educational institutions in promoting healthy and behavioral values and in building social awareness that contributes to limiting the spread of this phenomenon and protecting students and society.
